    Get Subsidy of Upto Rs 1 lakh to Buy Tractor; Apply by November 30

     Keeping all these things in mind, many state governments at their own level provides a subsidy to the farmers to buy new tractors & other agricultural machinery. In this sequence, a subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh is being provided by the Uttar Pradesh government to the farmers to buy a new tractor. 

     
    Farmers of UP State, who want to buy tractors on subsidy can apply for this till November 30. 
     
    Who will get priority for Tractor Subsidy? 
     
    Women farmers, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe farmers will be given priority. However, under the scheme, the benefit of subsidy will also be provided to the general category farmers as per the rules of the state. 
     
    How many subsidies will Farmer get on Tractors? 
     
    • In Uttar Pradesh, farmers are given a 30% subsidy to buy a new tractor. 
     
    • The benefit of this subsidy is being provided by the Horticulture Department. 
     
    • There is a provision to give a subsidy of up to Rs 75,000 to the general category farmers for the purchase of tractors of up to 20 HP. 
     
    • At the same time, for Scheduled Caste farmers, the subsidy is given up to Rs 1 lakh. 
     
    • Apart from this, a subsidy of 25% is given by the Agriculture Department to buy tractors. 
     
    • Under this, a subsidy of up to Rs 45,000 is provided for the purchase of tractors. 
     
    Eligibility & Conditions for buying a New Tractor 
     
    The eligibility & conditions for providing the benefit of subsidy on the purchase of new tractors have been prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, which is as follows: 
     
    • To buy a new tractor on subsidy, the applicant farmer must be a native of Uttar Pradesh. 
     
    • The benefit of subsidy for the purchase of new tractors will be given to only small & marginal farmers of the state. 
     
    • To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to have the documents of the field in the name of a farmer. 
     
    • A farmer can buy a tractor on subsidy only once. 
     
    • Only one farmer from a family can apply for the subsidy on the tractor. 
     
    • Under this scheme, only those farmers can take benefits, who have not received the benefit of subsidy from the government for buying tractors in the last 7 years. 
     
    • Apart from this, the farmer applying for a subsidy should not be involved in any other agricultural machinery subsidy scheme. 
     
    Documents Required   
     
    The necessary documents are as follows: 
     
    • Applicant Farmers Identity Proof (Aadhar Card). 
     
    • Land papers in the Name of Farmer. 
     
    • Passbook of the applicant farmer's bank account. 
     
    • Farmer's Mobile number. 
     
    • Farmer's Passport size photograph.
