    A farmer fair was organized by the Department of Agriculture under the successful farmer-prosperous Punjab Campaign in village Kot Dharm Chand Kalan.

    In this, Agriculture Officer Kuljit Singh Saini said that direct sowing of paddy is beneficial to save water and money. He said that after sowing water in the field for 15 days, direct sowing of paddy is easy. He said that domestic gardens can be prepared by reducing wasteful expenditure. Small farmers can get good profit if they form groups and do marketing themselves. Block farming officer Harjinder Singh Khaira, Lakhwinder Singh Sidhu said that DAP food should be used less. Dr. Harmeet Singh gave information about diseases related to insects and spiders. Technical manager Gurpal Singh informed about increasing fertile power by mixing decisions in the waste land.
